Hello, my name is Trent Bennett.  I have a ton of nicknames, I lost count...... so feel free to create a nickname if you feel so inclined.  I am 17 years old, and I have two older brothers, one younger brother, and one younger sister.  One brother just returned from his mission in the McCallen, Texas area, and the other one is almost finished with his mission in the Columbia, South Carolina area.  I am somewhere around six foot, six foot one.  At the moment, I am pretty skinny, but in my spare time I enjoy working out (lifting and running with my brother), reading, and hanging out with friends.  I love to laugh - life would be dull without laughter.  Sometimes I will be shy and quiet but at other times I am outspoken and anything but quiet...depends on my mood I guess.  Oh, also I might be considered a band geek, as I play tenor saxophone at school...Haha.  Often I think people don't really get to know me, but I think if you do, you'll find out there is much more to me that you think.  But anyways, on the side I work and keep up in schoolwork.  I work as a lifeguard at the Green River Recreation Center, but the pool is currently shut down indefinitely for renovations and updates to legal requirements.  Also, I am an upcoming Senior at Green River High School, and I work hard for my education (I currently have a 4.0).  Last year I took a class during the summer online through WWCC and during the school year I took another outside of my regular schedule.  This summer, I will be reading like crazy, studying up for the ACT testing, and soon will be learning more Spanish with my brother who just returned from his mission and speaks fluent Spanish. I am hopeful that I will be able to learn much.  My education is very important to me and in the future I plan on leading a successful career in order to support my family and hopefully be able to enjoy my work.  I have no clue what I will major in college but right now I am pondering going into one of : neurology, cognitive sciences, neurosurgery, linguistics or law.  At the moment I am most interested in University of Utah, but that could easily change, I am sure.  Buy anyways, I am excited for the Trek and hope to et to know everyone better this summer!       Trent
